An absolute pleasure to watch!
I loved this anime. If you love suspense, thrillers, excitement, and a mystery, this anime is an absolute must see. Its about a man utilizing every option available to him and his unique ability to stop a killer by surrounding his 'victims' with compassion and friendship. However this anime is very dark, so if my explanation made you think of lovey dovey, I apologize. I honestly loved this anime and hope you enjoy it too!
This show is one of those gems that keep giving even when they are over, There is no need for further explanations or reviews.. My only compliment is in saying: No amount of words will be enough to praise this Anime- Work of Art.
See it, Enjoy it.. It will be a hell of a ride on this Flawless Masterpiece.
I have to say that i have never been hyped up so much about an anime ever since I first found out gear fourth existed or when One Punch Man came out. This anime deserve a nobel prize or any sort of amazing trophy. I literally love every episode that came out, i watch this anime and i feel so relax in doing so. I love how unique the plot is and i love the tension and build up. Just like Death Note or Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, this anime entered its own level or league as i will never campare its amazingness to anything else i've watched. I got all my freinds at school to watch it and they all said its one of the best anime they have ever watched and it may sound shocking to you if you haven't watched it considering only 7 episodes came out. So if you're reading this review I insist you watch this anime because i too judge its description and assume it wasn't great but ive truly learned that you cant judge a anime by its description without watching it.
I agree with all the good reviews my opinion for this anime though would be PG 13. You have got to remember this is a new day and age and I've seen worse gore in other anime. This one is like watching NCIS to me. So yeah this anime is one of the awesome animes that have come out this year.
I know reviewing an anime after only three episodes is to soon for most anime out there. However I am pretty sure many of you will love to watch Erased aka Boku dake ga Inai Machi, therefor I'm make time free to write a good short review.
First a few basic information, before I go into details explaining my observations.
Airing: from January 8, 2016 to March 25, 2016;
live-action film: Debuts on March 19, 2016 in Japan.
Manga: Began serialization in 2012 and has currently 7 volumes.
Episodes: 12 for the first season (more? I would love to :)
Genres: Psychological, Seinen, Supernatural
Audience: Typically adults | R 17+
What I can tell, after watching more then 1000+ anime's for 13+ years, this anime possess a qualitative mix of well thought elements.
Synopsis: One guy with a supernatural ability, he himself can't control, relapses back in time whenever there is an incident that he realistically could have prevented it from happening. If he was more conscious to his surroundings. One of this incident is when one of his loved one dies, but the murder is linked to a series of incidents in his childhood which caused him a life long trauma, so because of that he travels back in time to the moment he was a child in February 1988 Japan.
Note:I would consider the time travel in this story is most scientifically plausible, because the act itself applies going from one state, back to the previous state of the hole universe with the exceptions of the mind of the main protagonist.
Plot: The concept of time travel isn't new, but how it is used to create changes in situation while being subjected to cause-and-effect to different moment which creates complexity. This complexity causes unpredictability of events unfolding before a viewer, sometimes it is slower other times faster, creating excitement ^^ and a lot of re-watch moments. The other thing I like, the characters are to some degree stereotypical, but have hidden dept to there personality if you stay sharp.
Animations or the art: The anatomie of character design is of a typical anime style (in contrast to death note), however the colors are more vibrant in the overal anime. There are nicer uses of subtler colors for displaying emotions and creating the feeling of how the space is experienced by characters themselves.
Conclusion: I grade this for now as a masterpiece = 10 out of 10 = A+, but taking in the risico it might end up decrease greatly after the first three episodes in quality, I would still rate this as an 8 out of 10 just for the three episodes that have aired.
I hope I have helped at least one of you, make well thought choice to give this anime a chance :) Sayhoun
