Campione!

A harem love comedy plus magic battles. Kusanagi Godo is a 16-year-old high school boy, who once killed the god "Verethragna" and acquired the title of "Campione (god killer)" when he was 15. Erica Brandelli is a 16-year-old Italian girl, who is a "Great Knight" of the magic society "Bronze Black Cross" and had fought together with Godo to defeat Verethragna. Godo doesn't like fighting but his title of "Campione" makes him get involved in battles against other Campiones and uncontrollable gods.

I am also agree with you all

The timeline of the anime is nearly same as the light novel even though the producer cut several parts, making it shorter and leave an impression less than light novel...

but, overall story line is still enough to satisfy me

So, if anyone who interested the story as detailed as possible, please visit this link http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Campione!#Volume_7_-_Great_Sage_Equaling_Heaven ..

Read the novel as much as you want

    Too much left out!
As the previous reviewer stated it's not a bad anime, however they have already made a few major problems in my book regarding how it was done. Because Campione! is based off a light novel (A very good one for the most part) like all anime's in this situation the producers reworked the plot to make things fit how they wanted. Like Godou's powers all have their own background and abilities and restrictions. It's not like he can just use them whenever and wherever he wants. -- SPOILER ALERT! -- Like the Golden Sword (that cuts through divinity) that Godou used against Melqart and Athena can only be used if he has a thorough understanding of the origins of the God that he is fighting. The reason Erica kissed him before both fights was because that kiss was a type of teaching magic used to give him the info necessary to use the Sword since he used to be a normal person before the trip to Italy and doesn't have any true understanding on the origins of the Gods. Same with the Boar he summoned, Erica looked at the Colosseum when he called it because it's restricted to being used on large targets. However since the producers got lazy and never explained any of that it just made it more difficult to figure out why she would look behind her in the middle of a fight. -- SPOILER END! -- Plus they (the producers) made the sequence of events completely different from the light novel its based off of before they even finished episode one. Not a good way to start things off in my opinion! To all the people interested in this, please go read the light novel first (Much, much better in my opinion easy 5 out of 5 over all -English translations available on Baka-tsuki thanks to all the hard working fans!) to get all the main background points and important details the weren't shown in the anime that NEEDED to be in order to help it make sense. Then after reading the novel, come back and enjoy the anime. Since as I said already, the producers changed up the storyline before they even finished one episode, you can get a chance to watch a different version of the story AND know all the important facts that were left out of the anime! So, I give this a 3 out of 5 since they did a decent job so far (only 5 episodes in however) they left too much out to be able to understand it without reading the light novel first.

Passing the time and it's not too bad

There's only been a few eps as I'm writing this review but so far it's been a decent enough anime. Read the summary if you want a bit of background but I think that even then it doesn't give a very clear picture of what the anime is actually about.

I'm still a bit fazed at how the whole thing starts since it seems like the producers just wanted to start the anime and get on with it rather than introduce the viewers to the story and let them become interested in it themselves.

There's a bit of magic, a big golden divine-killing sword, an italian girl that's in love yet manipulatve with the main character, and a bit of nonsense. If you like magic and/or are looking for something quick and easy to watch this is something that's right up you're alley then. Not much on content but it's fun enough to watch.
